Alice embarked on her employment journey with no prior work experience. With our guidance, she enthusiastically embraced a voluntary role that quickly became a source of genuine enjoyment. Witnessing Alice’s exceptional performance in this position, she set her sights on securing a paid role.
In close collaboration with a care home, we diligently crafted an opportunity tailored to Alice’s strengths and aspirations. Triumphantly transitioning into this paid role, Alice continues to shine, exceeding expectations. Her enthusiasm for the position is palpable, especially in her heartfelt interactions with the residents, a facet of the job that brings her immense joy.

So Who Are We?

Sarah

Sarah has worked with adults with learning disabilities for nearly 10 years, both at Wakefield College and in the third sector.
Sarah is a qualified tutor and is TSI trained.
Sarah is passionate, enthusiastic and committed to making a positive impact for adults with learning disabilities.

Wayne

Wayne Stephenson has worked in the third sector for over ten years, amassing in-depth and wide ranging experience working with adults with learning disabilities.
Wayne has a level 3 qualification in supported employment through BASE and is TSI trained.
Wayne got into this field from personal experience and has a real passion for making a positive impact alongside adults with learning disabilities.
